Laura Acuña is a speaker, author, Bible teacher, podcast host and certified professional life coach. She’s served as a women’s ministry leader in various capacities for over 25 years. A graduate of Liberty University, she earned a degree in Christian Counseling and a minor in Biblical Studies. She’s the co-founder of Sisters in Faith Ministries, a non-profit ministry to women in the Damascus, Maryland, area. Married to Pat, the two are the parents of three sons, and one daughter-in-love. They became first-time grandparents to Evelyn Grace (finally a girl!) in July 2021.

Laura challenges her sisters to grow up to become spiritually and emotionally mature. Her new book Still Becoming: Hope, Help and Healing for the Diet-Weary Soul was published in December 2022. Laura is the host of the Still Becoming Podcast, which is available on all your favorite podcast platforms. In her free time, you can find her babysitting Evie, hanging out with her hubby, shopping at vintage barns or out to coffee with a friend.

My name is Ruth Elena Donato Ortiz. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY. I have now lived in Pennsylvania for many years. Since I was a child I always wanted to sing. Although life was hard as a child there was always a song in my heart. Thankful to God for my mother and grandmother that always took us to church. That is where I started to learn that God gave me a gift to sing. At the age of 16 I sung my first solo in Spanish titled "Psalm 19". I have been a singer and a worshiper of the Lord Jesus Christ since then. But, I never thought of forming my own ministry. In 2015 when my husband Lester passed away. Through my grieving process the Lord resurrected a song in me. The belief of He's Been Faithful has been a part of my life since about 1990. Heavily influenced by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. In 2022 I recorded my first CD He's Been Faithful. Followed by my bilingual CD Clean/Limpio Soy in 2023. It is my desire that my music will be a blessing to you as you worship the Lord along with me.
