Weekly Update

 Who fanned into flame the gifts in you? And whose gifts are you fanning into flame?
 
Those were a couple questions from this past Sunday. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be exploring Spiritual Gifts. My hope is that each one of us discovers how God has gifted us and then puts that gift into practice.
 
That gift is not ultimately for you; it’s for the sake of everyone else around you. And that gift does not ultimately point to the person with the gift; it’s points back to the Giver.
 
On October 4th, we’ll launch a church-wide Spiritual Gift Assessment. I’m really looking forward to it! More on that later…
 
A few other things:
 

1. CONNECT LUNCH. This Sunday, September 27th. 12:00-1:30pm. Click Here to register! If you have recently connected with GCN over these past few months, we hope you’ll be a part of this lunch. Connect with others, connect with the pastors, and find out a little more about the mission of GCN.
2. SIGN UP FOR A LIFE GROUP. This past Sunday was our Life Group Fair. It was great! If you haven’t already signed up for a Life Group, you can CLICK HERE to do that now. This is what it means to be in community together!
3. HONDURAS MISSION TEAM. They arrived back last night, and all good reports! Thank you for praying and thank you for giving. On Sunday, October 4th we’ll hear about what God is doing through Cocal Gracias and that ministry around Puerto Cortes and Agua Caliente, Honduras.
