Weekly Update

Jesus wants every part of you.

Does He have it?

That was the message this past Sunday. This season of Lent, among other things, calls us to a deeper surrender to Jesus.

Have you surrendered your future to Jesus? Your family? Your desire for control?

That Rich Young Ruler (Matthew 19:16-22) counted the cost and decided that Jesus was asking too much from him.

Contrast that with Peter, Andrew, James and John. They left their livelihood of fishing, dropped their nets, and followed Jesus. (Matthew 4:18-22)

There is no freedom without a surrender to Jesus.

Everything – Jesus = Nothing.
Jesus + Nothing = Everything.
