Weekly Update

GCN Family,
 
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)
 
That was the message from this past Sunday night’s Vision Night. God isn’t able to just do a LITTLE bit more than we can ask or imagine. He’s not just able to do TWICE as much as all we can ask or imagine. He’s able to do IMMEASURABLE MORE than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
 
Thanks for being a part of that night together. We were well-fed by Darrin, Karen, Chip and the whole meal team. We were encouraged by our Treasurer, Traci Weems, sharing her heart for giving. We were blessed by Adilia Sequeira sharing her testimony (“My spirit belongs at GCN”). We were ushered into the throne room of Grace by Ashley Malott and her team. God is so good.
 
Let’s be praying together over: (1) Our increased investment in ministry to and with kids and families, bridging the gap between outside-the-walls ministry and inside-the-walls ministry. (2) Prayer over direction and discernment for a new staff position: Kids Ministry Director. (3) Prayer over being more intentional about our ministry with those in our community whose first language is not English. (4) Prayer over our increased organization and intentionality in ministering to the most vulnerable in our neighborhood.
 
Thanks for being the church! The best is yet to come.

4. Office Administrative Update. Following her maternity leave, Paola Gnatiko will transition to GCN FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR, beginning February 2nd. Jenny Schafer has transitioned to GCN OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR.
