Weekly Update

God is so good.

At Bethlehem, He is God with us.

At Calvary, He is God for us.

At Pentecost, He is God in us.

This past Sunday was Pentecost Sunday. The truth is, every day is Resurrection Day and Pentecost Day for those who are in Christ. Our God is always bringing dead situations back to life, and His Spirit is always empowering us.

The question from Sunday was simple: Would you receive the Holy Spirit?

We need the Holy Spirit to send us on mission, to guide our church, and to lead us into the future.

COMING UP…

1. Grad Sunday is this Sunday! Our GCN High School Grads are: Ben Beccles, Susie Beccles, Naomi Flores, Grace Hildreth, Jayda Lohmeier, Noah Morris, and Emily Sevilla. We are praying for our grads!
2. GCN Ladies Ministry Night: All ladies are invited to join us for our next ladies ministry night on Friday, June 12 beginning at 6:00pm in the Life Center. Dinner is provided so be sure to let us know you are coming by CLICKING HERE.
3. Kids Ministry Director Update: This past Sunday we announced that we’ve identified a good candidate for this role. Continue to pray over this process, pray for our Kids Ministry, and for this individual. The best is yet to come!
4. Condolences. Please continue to pray for Traci Weems. A Celebration of Life service will be held for her father, John, on Friday, June 5th. 10:00am at Beach Road Church in Southport, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any contributions be made to the “Debt Reduction Fund” at Beach Road Church.
