Weekly Update

GCN Family,
 
Because of the resurrection of Jesus, we don’t need to be afraid of anything. That’s what we talked about this past Sunday.
 
Now, if you feel afraid, or overwhelmed, or worried about the future, there’s no shame in that. All that means is that God’s grace is sufficient, and His Spirit can fill you and heal that part of you, too!
 
I love how the Old Testament stories – such as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace – point to the ultimate defeating of death in Jesus! The Word of God is powerful.
 
Holy Spirit, speak to us, through the Word of God. Amen.
 
A FEW OTHER THINGS:

1. Thanks for giving towards the Bee A Blessing Backpack drive! This Sunday, we’ll pray over those backpacks and the families who will be receiving them. Thanks for loving our neighbors, like Jesus!
