Weekly Update
GCN Family,
“We exist to embody the Good News of Jesus to our neighborhood.”
This is our mission statement at GCN and one of the many ways we tangibly live this out is through our partnership with Stewartown. For nearly two decades now, we as a church family have loved this neighborhood well! It has uniquely looked different in different seasons, but we have had the opportunity to bless hundreds of kids and their families over the years. This has looked like providing backpacks full of school supplies, blessing the families with gift cards & presents at Christmas time, investing our time with tutoring help, Sonshine Clubs, Bible Studies and teaching various life skills. Through all of this, we have planted seeds, scattered seeds and watered seeds that God is growing in beautiful ways today!
And we aren’t done yet… not even close!
Looking ahead to this summer, we have another exciting opportunity to continue to plant, scatter and water Gospel seeds in our community. On July 28th-31st, we will be putting on a Stewartown Summer Camp for kids ages 5-12. Throughout the week, the kids will get to enjoy various arts & crafts, science experiments, fun games, Biblical-based skits and more! We will even be taking the kids to the pool to celebrate what God will do, but in order for all of that to happen… we will need your help! Here are two practical ways you can help:

2. Baby Bottle Campaign. Help support moms and the Shady Grove Pregnancy Center through the Baby Bottle Campaign. You can give directly only HERE. Or, pick up a baby bottle on Sunday morning and bring it back with your donation by June 21st.

- Register Your Kids- You can sign up your own kids or invite the kids in your circle of influence to join in the fun! We are planning and praying for 60 kids to be a part of this impactful week! We have been working hard to get all of the Stewartown kids signed up but we also need our GCN kids and friends to jump in the fun too! - Serve With Us- We are in need of some more GCN volunteers to help make this week even more incredible & meaningful for the kids. We are looking for people to help with registration, preparing meals for the lunches each day and people willing to help lead the younger and older age kids through the rotations each day of the summer camp. If you are interested in serving with us, please reach out to Pastor Kevin at pastorkevin@gburgnaz.org and let him know you are wanting to help out.
