Weekly Update

Yesterday our high schoolers and leaders took off for Nazarene Youth Conference in Salt Lake City, UT.

I’m grateful to be a part of a church who invests in, believes in, and prays for our young people. Many of you received a bracelet this past Sunday with the name of a student on it. Thank you for praying!

It was 27 years ago that I was a high schooler at Nazarene Youth Conference in Toronto, Canada. Worshiping with 10,000 other students was amazing. God used that conference to begin the process of calling me to ministry. It was at an evening worship service that I first made the decision to really surrender my whole future to Jesus.

One of my biggest prayers is that our young people would, early on, make that decision to completely surrender their lives to Jesus. That is the decision that impacts all other decisions!

Speaking of praying for and investing in the next generation…
  • Stewartown Summer Camp is coming up! July 28-31. Pass on the registration info to anyone you know who has kids (for those completed grades K-5th). So many great ways to serve and love like Jesus this summer!
  • Today is the first official day on the job for Esther Zapana, our new Kids Ministry Director! We are so grateful for Esther and her family joining the GCN family. Let’s be praying for Esther, our Kids Ministry, and these days ahead!

Other happenings…
  • Check out the ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE for all things coming up, including a GCN Ladies Night on August 8th.
  • Check out the SUMMER FUN GROUP PAGE and jump into a group, such as Painting with Edna Searles or a Black Hill Float Day on July 11th.

Much Love,

Pastor Brian
