Weekly Update

GCN Family,
 
What a great Welcome Home Sunday we had! We celebrated 6 baptisms. We lifted high the name of Jesus. We gathered around tables in the unusually warm mid-September sun. We got to know new friends. We are a “Welcome Home” church.
 
Thanks for loving your neighborhood well, church. From smoking meats, to setting up tables, to teaching kids, to leading worship, God was glorified through it all.
 
2 Important Things:

1. Join a LIFE GROUP. Life Group Fair is this Sunday after the worship service. It’s a great way to either (a) peruse and sign yourself up for a life group, OR (b) a great way to invite someone to join you and invite them to sign up for a Life Group. Community is a critical part of following Jesus. Let’s do life together.
2. Pray for our Mission Team in Puerto Cortes, Honduras this week. They took off Monday and arrive back Tuesday. Pray for Cocal Gracias ministry, pray for God to use our five members of the team (Pastor Kevin, Oscar Benitez, Marie Bercaw, Sonia Carrero, and Kim Spillers, and pray over this continued partnership.
