Weekly Update

GCN Family,

What a good time together this past Sunday, hearing from our Honduras Mission Team. If you missed it, go back and listen to that HERE. We heard testimonies of God’s calling, God’s faithfulness, a miraculous encounter, and a long obedience in the same direction. Praise God!

The morning was so full, we didn’t even have time to fit in a Thank You Message from Brian and Rina Ruark and Pastor Jaun. Check that video out HERE.

 A FEW OTHER THINGS:

1. SPIRITUAL GIFT TEST. If you haven’t already done so, take the 8-10 minutes to complete the Spiritual Gift Test. The goal of this series – Fan Into Flame – is 3-fold: (a) That each of us discovers how God has gifted us, (b) that we would each use those gifts to God’s glory, and (c) that all of us would fan into flame those gifts in others. Thank you for completing the Spiritual Gift Test!   
2.  GCN Membership Lunch. Next Sunday, October 18th. 12:00pm-3:00pm. This is for anyone – new and old to GCN. If you are interested in learning more about our mission, our beliefs, and our history, we hope you’ll join us! Take a moment and fill out the registration so we know you’re coming!
3. American Red Cross Blood Drive. GCN is hoping to host a blood drive within the next three months, but in order to host the drive, we need to commit to having at least 30 volunteers to donate. Please take this QUICK SURVEY to let us know if that might be you! You can also sign up in person this Sunday in the foyer after the service with Lisa Ross.
4.  Other things coming up:

• Prime Timers Lunch. Friday, October 16. 12:00p-1:30p.
• Neighborhood Prayer Walk. Show up to the church at 5:30pm. We'll pray over our nieghborhood together. 
• Faith Promise Sunday. Sunday, November 1.
