Weekly Update

Hi GCN Family, Happy day before Thanksgiving Day.

Question: What are you thankful for? Even if it floods the old inbox, that’s ok. Email me and let me know!

Me? I’m thankful for you. What a wonderful time together this past Sunday at our Annual Thanksgiving Feast. Huge thanks to Brian Gruber and his team of cooks who prepared the turkey and the sides. So many others helped set up, clean up, greet, and just serve together.

Sunday was also our Annual Church Leader Elections. Thanks to all who accepted that nomination to appear on the ballot. The results of that election are at the bottom of this message. We’re blessed with great leadership. Join me in praying over the future of our church. These are good days.

This Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. My prayer for us is that we are surprised by God’s Presence this Advent Season. He is coming to us!

ADVENT NIGHT OF PRAYER. THIS SUNDAY @ 6PM.
Let’s begin this season of preparation by joining together this Sunday evening. 6-7pm in the Sanctuary. It’s simple: We’ll worship together. Read and reflect on Scripture together. And pray together. We need this.
