Weekly Update
Hi GCN Family,
Welcome Home! Really looking forward to being with you (and your friends and neighbors) this Sunday, September 8th, at GCN. We'll have baptisms!, a picnic following the worship service, games, inflatable course for kids, volleyball, prizes, and good people. Here's the challenge: take a few moments today to send a text (or make an old-fashioned phone call?) and invite someone to join you this Sunday. Actually, go ahead and pray over who God might be laying on your heart right now. This is a great Sunday to demonstrate – as a church – the heart of Jesus: the dad who is watching and waiting for his kid to come home (Luke 15).
Note: The side parking lot (the spots next to the woods in the lower lot) will be blocked off on Sunday in prep for the picnic and celebration after the worship service. If you are able, we ask that you fill in the parking spots in the Upper Parking Lot first. Thank you!
One more thing: Join us in praying over our neighborhood mission efforts. Our Stewartown After-School club kicks off this Tuesday, September 10th. Pray for those students and for the leaders pouring into our neighborhood. If you'd like to volunteer with that ministry, or to find out more about serving with any of our local missional efforts, CLICK HERE and fill out the Join the Mission Response.
Much love,
Pastor Brian
